Conveyor technology
From bread rolls to aluminum blocks weighing up to 80 tons – we transport whatever you produce. In the field of conveyor technology, SCHMID Anlagenbau GmbH develops individual, tailor-made solutions for almost every industry and application. Whether fruit farming, bakeries, car washes, or industrial production environments: our conveyor technology is versatile, robust, and precisely tailored to the respective requirements.
We develop conveyor technology for every container, every dimension, and every weight. A wide variety of pallets and transport solutions are used – from standard Euro pallets to product-specific special pallets and containers made of plastic, steel, wood, or chipboard. Each system is individually planned and adapted to the material, space conditions, and process requirements.
We also offer the right solution for large, heavy, or bulky goods. Our heavy-duty conveyor technology enables the safe transport of extreme loads, such as aluminum blocks weighing up to 80 tons. Large, heavy, or unusual – no problem for us.

Portal systems
We develop and implement portal systems in special machine construction for applications that require large working areas, high load capacities, and precise movement sequences. Thanks to stable bridge constructions with movable axes, our systems enable the exact positioning and safe handling of even heavy or large-format workpieces.
Depending on requirements, we implement single-axis or multi-axis gantries, linear gantry systems, gantry robots with integrated gripper technology, and heavy-duty gantries. Each solution is individually tailored to the respective production process. We take into account factors such as load capacity, dynamics, repeatability, and seamless integration into existing systems. Modern drive technology and intelligent control systems ensure precise, reproducible sequences and a high level of process reliability.
From the initial concept idea to design and manufacture to commissioning, each gantry system is developed in close consultation with the customer. The aim is to create an economical, durable, and technically sophisticated solution that fits seamlessly into existing processes and contributes to increased efficiency. Food Industry
Conveyor and lifting technology for the food industry places high demands on hygiene, safety, and efficiency. SCHMID Anlagenbau GmbH develops customized conveyor solutions that are precisely tailored to the respective production processes – economical, reliable, and practical.
Whether open, packaged, or liquid foodstuffs: our systems transport products such as bread rolls, chocolate, fruit, vegetables, pasta, nuts, or milk safely and gently through production. Particularly in the case of open foodstuffs, we pay attention to hygienic designs, food-grade materials, and the absence of dirty edges or exposed screws. This means that our conveyor systems comply with all applicable regulations and guarantee maximum product safety.
Packaged and sensitive foods are also conveyed precisely and gently to prevent damage. For liquid foods in tanks, we implement customized special solutions made of chrome steel that are hygienic, durable, and can be optimally integrated into existing production lines.
