Disclaimer

Despite careful control, the operator of the website accepts no liability for the content of external links. The content of linked pages is the sole responsibility of their operators.

Statement on the obligation to provide information

The protection of your personal data is of particular concern to us. We therefore process your data solely on the basis of the legal regulations (GDPR, TKG [Austrian Telecommunications Act] 2003). In this data protection information, we inform you about the most important aspects of data processing on our website.

Contacting us

If you contact us by using this form on this website or by email, all data you provide will be stored by us for six months for the sole purpose of processing your enquiry and in the event of follow- up questions. We will not pass on this data to third parties without your consent. Neither are they sold or lent out, respectively. Your data is transmitted via SSL encryption (SSL certificate) and we undertake to handle all of your data responsibly and with the greatest possible care.

Web analysis and cookies

Our website uses functions of the web analysis service Matomo, an open-source software for statistical evaluation of visitor access, as well as the Google Analytics software provided by Google. Matomo (150 Willis St, 6011 Wellington, New Zealand). It uses so-called “cookies”. These are text files that are stored on your computer, enabling an analysis of your usage of the website. The information thus created is transmitted to the server of the provider (located in Germany) and stored there. You can prevent this by adjusting the settings of your browser so that no cookies are being stored. We would, however, like to point out that in such a case, you may, if applicable, not be able to use all functions of this website to their full extent.

Your IP address is collected but pseudonymised at once (e. g. by deleting the last 8 bit). Thus, only some broad localization is still possible.

Our concern in the sense of the GDPR (legitimate interest) is to improve our offer and our website. Since the privacy of our users matters to us, the user data is pseudonymised. We retain the user data for the period of one year.

The use of cookies with regard to Google (Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA) is handled in the same way as for Matomo, except that some of the data is stored in the U.S. as well. This, however, is done in accordance with the policies of the EU-U.S. Privacy Shield (https://www.dsb.gv.at/eu-us-privacy-shield).

Newsletter / revocation of consent for the newsletter

We send a newsletter for our own advertising purposes. The consent to receiving the newsletter service SendinBlue (based in 47, rue de la Chaussée d'Antin, 75009 Paris), may be revoked at any time for the future. Please refer to the footer “Unsubscribe” in the newsletter.

There is no mandatory form for giving your consent to a newsletter. It may be granted explicitly (e. g. in written form, via email or orally) or even conclusively. It only needs to be granted before the first mailing of advertising or mass emails. Until further notice, the “double opt-in” procedure continues to be considered as the consent to receiving emails.

Facebook - social media plugins

This website uses Facebook social plugins operated by Facebook Inc. (1 Hacker Way, Menlo Park, California 94025, USA). These embeddings become apparent because of the Facebook logo or, respectively, the terms “Like”, “Share”. You can find information about all Facebook plugins at: https://developers.facebook.com/docs/plugins/

The plugin establishes a direct connection between your browser and the Facebook servers. The website operator does not have any influence on the nature and the scope of the data that the plugin transmits to the servers of Facebook Inc. For information, please refer to: https://www.facebook.com/help/186325668085084
The plugin informs Facebook Inc. that you as a user have visited this website. Your IP address may be stored in this case. If you are being logged into your Facebook account while you visit this website, the information mentioned is linked to this account. If you use the plugin functions, for example by sharing or “liking” a post, the respective information is transmitted to Facebook Inc., too. If you want to keep Facebook Inc. from linking this data to your Facebook account, please log off from Facebook prior to visiting this website.

Use of LinkedIn

Plugins of the social network LinkedIn of LinkedIn Corporation, 2029 Stierlin Court, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA are integrated on our sites. The LinkedIn plugins are readily identified by the LinkedIn logo on our site.
If you visit one of our sites, the plugin establishes a direct connection between your browser and the LinkedIn server, and LinkedIn will be informed that you visited our site with your IP address.
If you click on the LinkedIn "Recommend button" while you are logged into your LinkedIn account, you can link contents of our sites to your LinkedIn profile. By this means LinkedIn is able to associate your visit of our sites with your user account.
We wish to state that we as the provider of the sites do not receive information about the content of the transmitted data nor of its use by LinkedIn. For details on data collection and your rights and setting options please refer to the privacy information of LinkedIn provided by LinkedIn at https://www.linkedin.com/legal/privacy-policy?trk=uno-reg-guest-home-privacy-policy.

Your rights

In general, you have the rights to information, correction, deletion, restriction, data transferability, revocation and objection. If you believe that the processing of your data violates data protection law, or your data protection claims have otherwise been violated in any way, you can complain to the supervisory authority. In Austria, this is the data protection authority.
